Leaving Glasgow
This is the outcome of my Final Major Project from my third and final year of undergraduate. With this project I wanted to attempt my most ambitious narrative work, while also being by far my most personal project to date. This allowed me a lot more creative freedom inside of my animations to create deeper and metaphorical meanings, which this project is very full of. The story is told entirely from the perspective of a person on a train “Leaving Glasgow”, reflecting and reliving his memories, as he struggles to make sense of them. It is suggested that this is all just a diary entry. This was one of my most challenging projects to create on a personal level but also on a professional level as it required me to fill so many shoes/roles while working on this project, from; Cinematographer, Editor, Animator, Colour grader, Scriptwriter, Voice actor, etc.
Roles: Entirely Created (apart from voice acting at then)
Special thanks to Netta Hattak for voice acting at the end, where my ex’s voice used to be.
